PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Professional Experience
Registered Early Childhood Educator
The Jean Tweed Centre
Community agency specializing in women's substance use, maternal mental health, and family support.
- Redesigned (2021) and manualized (2025) the Mom and Kids Too Parenting Program, a six-module curriculum delivered to 150+ learners across 25+ cohorts in in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous formats.
- Co-developed and manualized an original Art Therapy Curriculum for High-Risk Youth (ages 12-16), which informed expanded funding and the subsequent launch of Jean Tweed's broader youth program.
- Supervise and mentor 25+ ECE placement students from three Ontario colleges since 2020, evaluating performance against competency-based learning outcomes and supporting integration of theory into practice.
- Design and evaluate curriculum across infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age groups using emergent, inquiry-based, and developmentally appropriate frameworks.
- Maintain pedagogical documentation and student evaluation records.
Supervisor, Child Development Services (Contract)

- Supervised 4 Registered Early Childhood Educators and 5 college placement students through competency-based evaluation and individualized mentorship.
- Provided mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback; delivered staff training and professional development.
- Maintained compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Ministry of Education standards, Toronto Public Health requirements, and Assessment for Quality Improvement (AQI) protocols.
Registered Early Childhood Educator (Contract)
The Jean Tweed Centre
- Designed and facilitated virtual parenting support groups and individual consultations during the early COVID-19 pandemic, serving 100+ families through synchronous and asynchronous online delivery while in-person services were suspended.
