01.TEACHING

Feedback & Recognition

The following feedback has been gathered from practicum students I supervised, families who participated in programming I delivered, colleagues and peers at the Jean Tweed Centre, and faculty mentors at Sheridan College. They span multiple years and contexts of practice. Names have been replaced with role descriptors to protect privacy. I am continuing to gather formal course evaluation feedback as I move into post-secondary teaching roles. This section will be updated as that record develops.

02.STUDENTS & FAMILIES

Students & families

"I hope you are doing well and you're still doing your magic at Jean Tweed! I just wanted to say hi and let you know me and my daughter are doing amazing! I have sole custody, no more CAS involvement, I am still completely sober. My daughter is about to be 2 in a month, and I am starting my second semester of college. I just wanted to remind you that none of this would have been possible without you and your support and believing in me, and I'm so grateful for you and everyone over at Jean Tweed! You gave me the opportunity to be the mom I always wanted and I'm kicking butt at it."
— Parent, Jean Tweed Centre programming
"Thank you for your patience, your guidance, and your willingness to help me grow. I'm very grateful for the way you've supported me, offered thoughtful guidance, and accepted my mistakes with understanding. It has been an honour to learn from you. Wishing you all the best and smooth sailing in all that lies ahead!"
— Practicum Student
"Thank you so much for welcoming me into the Child Development Centre with warmth and kindness. You create such a safe and comfortable space for families to connect, and I am grateful I had the opportunity to join you over the last 12 weeks and experience the work and care you so skillfully engage in."
