Curriculum Developer 2020 to present

Mom and Kids Too Parenting Program

Jean Tweed Centre for Women and Their Families

Redesigned, updated, and manualized a six-module parenting curriculum covering attachment theory, social and emotional development, discipline, child safety, and nutrition. The program is delivered to mothers navigating addiction recovery, housing instability, and complex family circumstances. Applies Universal Design for Learning principles throughout to ensure accessibility across varied literacy levels, languages, and learning histories.

Curriculum Developer 2022

Art Therapy Curriculum for High-Risk Youth

Jean Tweed Centre for Women and Their Families

Co-developed and manualized an original upstream prevention curriculum for youth aged 12–16 in collaboration with a registered art therapist, following formal training in expressive arts therapy. Designed to support emotional regulation, self-expression, and relational safety before young people might require more intensive mental health and substance use support.

Trauma-Informed Practice Workbook

Jean Tweed Centre for Women and Their Families

Co-authored a practice resource for anyone dedicated to the wellbeing of children, developed with seven co-authors at the Jean Tweed Centre. The workbook is used in ECE programs at George Brown College and Humber College and is currently being adopted at Sheridan College. Available at jeantweed.com.
